Governance Structure

Keystone - vision-and-values

At the top of the governance structure are Members.  Our Members play a vital role in holding the Board of Trustees to account, ensuring the trust remains true to its charitable objectives and complies with company and charity law.

A Board of Trustees, which is the key strategic decision-making body responsible for setting the trust’s vision, ensure statutory compliance, and oversee long-term development. The Board is supported by four sub-committees: Finance, Audit and Risk; Standards; Remuneration; and Church School Effectiveness, each with defined terms of reference.

Each of our schools have a Local Governing Board who operate at individual school level, providing local accountability and supporting school leaders in delivering high-quality education.

Trustees, Members, and local governors are supported through structured induction, regular meetings, and clear communication channels to ensure effective collaboration and informed decision-making across the trust.
