Surfleet’s Flower Festival

Last term, our school received a huge amount of support from both individuals within our area and from local businesses as part of a Grounds Day event organised by the school. The response however was somewhat unexpected! We were lucky enough to receive many free items from local businesses, discounted items and more. In terms of our parents and carers, we had a number of skilled individuals helping which led to us even benefitting from mini diggers and more (don’t worry, it was all risk assessed!).

After a long and tiring day, our grounds have not received some TLC but we have now begun the start of a sensory garden and eco zone for our pupils to make use of moving forward. We’re looking forward to adding to these areas so that our pupils have even more spaces they can use to play, relax and enjoy.
