Health and Safety and Estates
The Premises Team ensures all schools meet legal safety standards. They manage buildings and equipment, carrying out regular checks to protect staff, pupils, and visitors, in line with the Health and Safety at Work Act (1974). The team also lead on capital projects.
Operational Support
Supports site staff with health and safety compliance, including tool registers and training coordination.
Strategic Oversight and Planning
The trust leads on the strategic development of school sites, leading on capital projects ensuring compliance with statutory legislation. The Operations Team works closely with school leaders and the Finance Team to align estates priorities with budget and policy frameworks.
Health and Safety Compliance
IAMCompliant, an online platform, is utilised across the trust. The platform provides templates for risk assessments, incident reporting and site audits, including fire safety upgrades.
Capital Projects and Maintenance
Manages CIF bids and delivery, including upgrades to roofs, boilers, windows, and heat pumps across multiple academies. Liaises with contractors and suppliers for infrastructure improvements and procurement (e.g. Ricoh MFD tender).
Site Staff Support and Training
Provides induction and ongoing training for site staff, including PowerPoint modules and Teams sessions for mid-year starters. Ensures site teams are equipped with tools, registers, and compliance documentation.
Governance and Reporting
Estates updates are included in CMT and trustee meetings, with reporting templates and strategic reviews led by Trustees with estates responsibilities who contribute to oversight and policy review.
Technology and Systems Integration
Supports implementation of MIS systems, VOIP infrastructure, and compatibility reviews for Sage Intacct and other platforms.
